Dr. Péter Halmos graduated from the Faculty of Law at University of Pécs. Subsequently, he served in the Deputy State Secretariat for Legal Affairs of Prime Minister’s Office as a legal advisor, where he gained wide-range experience in lawsuits regarding public data enquiries, and administrative proceedings, as well as public service employment disputes. Later he joined to M&Co as a junior associate. Throughout the years, he has been dealing with legal representation of clients throughout the country, real estate advisory and transactions, labor law, advertising law and with corporate and commercial law issues related to the daily operation of domestic and foreign owned companies. As a project leader he is involved in reviewing the privacy management of companies from auditing to the introduction of new procedures and as an advisor or registered data protection officer he supports the ongoing compliance of organizations. Regarding this area he also obtained a master’s degree (LL.M.) from the Faculty of Law of ELTE. He gives advice in Hungarian and English languages. He passed the bar in 2019. He is the member of the Budapest Bar Association.
